The outdoor terrrace of La Closerie des Lilas (with pots of its namesake Lilacs), a cafe/brasserie/restauraunt on Boulevard Montparnasse, Paris, France. In the 1920's it was a haunt of writers such as Ernest Hemingway, Gertrude Stein and John Dos Passos. Hemingway mentioned the cafe in his book "A Moveable Feast."
